The Ruth First Educational Trust provides opportunities for students from southern Africa to undertake postgraduate study at Durham University (UK)

The award of the 2020-21 Ruth First Scholarship has been deferred as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic
The Scholarship has been awarded to Shamiso Zamba from Zimbabwe, who will take an MSc in Management (Supply Chain Logistics) in 2021-22
